It’s kinda tradition to introduce yourself from time to time, especially when you are lucky to get in touch with so many wonderful people who follow your account.

I’m an artist by passion and I care most about animals, environment and children. I’m an introvert with a few extrovert moments kept on camera.

I like nature, colours, statues and cats. I don’t like bad smells, crowded places and loud noises.

My paintings are often about things I’ve seen, things I love & things I would love to change. I want to put a message in every painting, maybe with the side effect of awareness.
I’m an autodidact and I believe, that everyone can do what ever their passion and talent has to offer.

This world, especially politics, doesn’t work right for me, but trying to do my best and enjoy this ride called life.

I’m incredibly honoured by the good press I discovered over the last few years in newspapers and online (as shown here). To know that my art speaks in so many languages, on so many continents makes me very happy.

Life is short and we gotta go for what makes us and others happy. As an artist you can bring yourself in the position of a louder voice, without speaking, but showing.

All art is able to make us feel good, to let us laugh, to think about serious issues, to bring back memories.

I got the possibility to help with my art through painting- and money-donations. To know there is a win-win situation makes me happy.

But nevertheless, I think the best moments are, when a painting turns out the way I wish and it gets the last coat.

Just a few more details then it’s done. 100x70 cm studio canvas. I really love those positive energy in the picture, which makes us still questioning “Why?”.
I think our world is full of sad and bad news these days. Don’t get me started with messed up politics, maniacal people, unbearable living conditions... that’s why I wanted to paint something nice without a controversial problem in it. Except for the once who hate flamingos... but c’mon, who hates flamingos 🤷🏼‍♀️

There are lots of bullies out there and millions who have to suffer. I decided to put one bully head in a glass-bowl, framed by woodpeckers, watched by a stormtrooper sitting besides a Champagner licking dog. Bursting bubbles are floating around and on top is a disco ball. Enjoy the ride! I hate war, but i like watching Star Wars.

Part of my latest painting“Krim”. Woodpeckers 💚 Woodpeckers have a flexible and small brain. Its subdural cavity is narrow with minimal CSF which controls and restricts the movement of the brain inside the skull preventing severe brain damage. Some Woodpeckers don't peck wood at all. They survive on the ground by making holes to form their nests, but most of the Woodpeckers and most of the time they are found on the trunk of trees, striking into the woods to find insects.

Once an art collector told me; “You have to show that you can paint, before you do abstract!”

...and I think he was right.

There are lots of colour combinations on canvas which happened more by accident than in purpose. It looks great, but if that’s always an accident and the maker can’t even bring a straight line on canvas, then I’m tired of calling those makers artists.
Some of them don’t know, that good abstract artists (the real ones) like Kandinsky, have been created outstanding paintings like “Harbour of Odessa” before they went for pure abstract. So there is always more behind an artist’s story. If studied or autodidact, they share skills and willingness, not sticking in one niche.

What you can find in the corner of your “studio”... is sometimes pretty cool abstract artwork. I got this one hung up on my living room wall today - it’s a 100 x 50 cm, acrylic painting with different layers from 2014 ...and maybe I’ll give it a try to sale one day.
